We tried playing a bit of the game as single player and it is much better. I did not expect this level of poor graphic performance on a PS4 game. This makes dodging enemy tells much more difficult and much less enjoyable to watch on the screen. Or massive animation framerate drops, so even though the entire screen might be at a minimum of 30 fps, the individual character animations are at much less than that. Or another fun observation, that the camera zooms out so far that all the sound effects become almost completely muted. Other fun things you get to experience with local co-op is the camera zooming out so far that the entire field is covered in fog and no one can see what is happening, even though you are standing in a fogless green field. It is readily apparent that more local co-op playtesting was done for Tales of Destiny 1, where the multiplayer was a complete afterthought, than was done in this game. Much of the time, this means your character gets killed offscreen and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. For controlling a spellcaster, it also means that you either crush all opposition effortlessly or you are at the mercy of the camera gods. This has made it completely impractical to play as a melee character with P2. In fact, I would say there are more fights where P2 is not visible than ones where they are consistently on the screen. For example, the camera will only zoom out to a maximum level, and on many battlefields that may result in a situation where P2 is now off the screen. I've played further, but even in wide open fields, the camera still makes playing the game a painful experience. Tales of Zestiria continues to be profoundly disappointing for local co-op.

Plus, a lot of the really lewd characters dont even look like they have made it past middle school. That adds nothing to this game, other than weeb bait. There is literally no reason for this game to have so many underboob shots and age-ambiguous girls with skin tight clothing. They know what they are doing with this.Ĥ. It's all the really good songs too, like Brain Power and Freedom Dive, which double sucks. I also dont wanna spend 30 dollars on a pack that gives me all the songs when I should just be able to unlock them with time. I dont know if there is some sort of unlock system when it comes to the songs you have to buy with real money, but if there isnt, than this is a stupid addition to the game. 90% of the game is locked behind a paywall. Im not even done with it yet and I have played four hours of this game.ģ. It takes like 12 hours to even unlock all the default songs. You get like 3 songs to start off with, all of them being way to slow and/or way too easy, and nothing else. In this game, you unlock everything based on your player level, which is determined by how well you play the songs. ALSO, it seems that any song after difficulty 9 becomes super difficult and requires a ton of coordination and training, so I would balance that out too.Ģ. I would recommend changing the difficulty rating or just redesigning anything between the level 5 - 8 difficulty. I am not the best at the rhythm games I enjoy (In fact, I am prolly in the lower percentile when it comes to skill) but I am still able to beat the songs with a full combo and high accuracy. If you cant, you probably just are new to gaming in general or are just not very good at rhythm games. Im pretty sure most people are able to do the first dozen maps with relative ease. Im going to be looking at this game from a competitive rhythm gamer perspective because it is easier to get detailed about things this way.ġ. If you are like most people, and just want a casual rhythm game to play, then this one is probably the best on the market for that. I would probably just play osu mania (or any VSRG really) or go to your local Round1 Location. If you are looking for an competitive and challenging rhythm game experience, this one Isn't the best choice. It proved to be a versatile tool used by educators to plan professional development sessions and facilitate group projects as teachers and students alike could share notes, photos, videos and audio clips. And for the education technology industry, it’s a reminder of that the “freemium” business model presents plenty of challenges-even when the product becomes very popular.įounded in 2008, Padlet’s founder and CEO, Nitesh Goel proclaimed it “the easiest way to put stuff on the web.” The tool attracted users with a simple interface that allowed users to drag and drop files from their desktop and add links from the web onto a web-based canvas (called a “padlet”). But the San Francisco-based company’s sudden switch to a new pricing plan has upset teachers who had become used to a generous, mostly free product.įor many educators, it’s a lesson that certain free things are too good to last. It also integrates well with some Web browsers, notably Chrome.Over the years, many educators took to Padlet, a free digital bulletin board where teachers and students could post messages, images, videos and links to online resources. Padlet can also be accessed as an app for Apple and Android devices, and there is a very useful WordPress plugin for anyone who is used to working with the WordPress blog creation tool. You can access it on the Web via the Padlet homepage. Padlet is free but, like many tools of this kind, you have to create an account before you can use it. More examples on using Padlet in the classroom can be found here. Each week has its own dedicated Padlet which allows the creation of a more aesthetically pleasing and contemporary learning interface for students. Vic Jupp-Kina, also in the School of Education & Social Work) sits in week 3 of the MA Values in Education & Social Work Blackboard site. Padlet also has what is called an embed code facility, which means that you can make your Padlet appear on your own website, blog or even in a Blackboard module. I do this with my Digital Childhood Padlet during the module that it relates to in order to encourage a collaborative approach to the crowd-sourcing and sharing of resources". Not only this, but I can also open editing rights to certain people or everyone who has a Padlet account. The beauty of Padlet is that I can choose to set access levels so that only I can view a Padlet on my account or I can open it up to public viewing. Derek says " I have chosen to set up this Padlet in this box style fashion however you can choose to set up any Padlet that you create in a different style. Padlet is being used extensively right now here at Dundee University - here is an example of how it is being used by Derek Robertson in the School of Education & Social Work. Padlet can also be used as a reflective tool for student comments, or as a way of gathering and demonstrating a portfolio of work or ideas. A Padlet can be set up to capture comments or feedback on their learning during the activity (Twitter - which we featured yesterday - is often used for this purpose too). A common use is that of a backchannel - a means of gathering feedback during an activity such as a lecture or a practical exercise. If you're a teacher there are many ways that Padlet could be used in a teaching situation. Padlet can also function like a 'Favourites' or 'Bookmark' facility on a web browser, except that the contents is available from any device you might be using as long as you can login to Padlet. If you're a student Padlet would be useful for brainstorming an idea or a topic, allowing everyone to paste their ideas, images, links to a central location where they could be viewed by all people within the group. Once you've created a Padlet wall it will assign a URL or web address which you can then share with a group of people - colleagues, other students and so on. Instead of pinning take-away menus, you can upload text, images, Powerpoint presentations, audio or video files, links to websites or combinations of all those things. Imagine a corkboard like you might have at home where you can pin notices, messages, photos, Post-It notes, take-away menus and so on - Padlet lets you do the same thing, but online. Padlet has been described as a sort of digital noticeboard. Robocopy became a standard utility of windows with the arrival of Vista. It is a top-notch feature presented by windows with NT4.0. This article is all about the introduction of Robocopy /xo as a tool, Robocopy sync capabilities, and how to use Robocopy to sync folders.Īs a tool, Robocopy (robust file copy) is a special command-based directory that works on commands to deal with syncing and copying functionalities for the windows operating system. Any ideas on how to get robocopy to only copy new/changed files to a samba share? Also, anyone has a better solution than robocopy? I've used these options when copying to Windows shares and it's worked as I want but for whatever reason when copying to a samba share it copies all files. Robocopy d:\ \\samba\share\ /e /z /r:0 /w:0 /copy:DAT /xd $RECYCLE.BIN /xd "System Volume Information" I'd like it to only copy new or changed files each time. I'm using robocopy to copy files to a samba share. Is it all secure now though? The Only Thing They Do Log This obviously sounds satisfying and I was pleased to know that the provider has revamped its entire privacy policy following the backlash. “We DO NOT keep any record of your browsing activities, connection logs, records of the VPN IPs assigned to you, your original IPs, your connection time, the history of your browsing, the sites you visited, your outgoing traffic, the content or data you accessed” In the updated Privacy policy, PureVPN claims: The audit was completed by the US-based security firm Altius IT and places all doubts of customer anonymity at rest, emerging as a trustworthy provider. There will only be one CCX per CCD, and this CCX will consist of eight cores. Zen 4 will continue to use an MCM (multi-chip module), or chiplet design it will use up to two 8-core CCDs and one I/O die. However, getting rid of the inter-core complex partition latencies is another thing. Initially ZEN2 addressed that to some extent, with a few efficiency solutions found at cache levels. In the past, a solution to bypass any performance degradation in gaming is to eliminate inter-core and inter-CCX latencies. That gave intel an advantage in many games with enthusiast performance graphics cards. On the other hand, AMD has been very strong on IPC but less so in absolute peak clock frequencies. Overall, Intel was king in High turbo clock frequencies but a notch weaker in IPC. A lot has been said and spoken about ZEN4 AMD single and multi-threaded performance has been great overall, but with competition from Intel heating up, they have a new design with lots more cache and turbo frequencies moving to over 5.5 GHz. Zen 4 CPU core-based products will power Ryzen 7000 desktop CPUs (codenamed "Raphael"), high-end mobile processors (codenamed "Dragon Range"), thin & light mobile processors (codenamed "Phoenix"), and Epyc 7004 server processors (codenamed "Genoa" and "Bergamo"). This is largely attributable to the upgraded Zen 4 architecture and smaller TSMC 5nm manufacturing process. This is mostly due to the higher clock speeds, which now reach 5.7 GHz on the flagship model, an 800 MHz increase over the existing series. The Ryzen 7000 series will offer a 13% increase in IPC over its predecessors and up to a 29% increase in single-thread performance. On September 27th, all four CPUs will be available. AMD has also confirmed the price of the 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X at USD 399 and the Ryzen 5 7600X at USD 299. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 9 7900X with 12 cores and 24 threads with a boost speed of up to 5.6 GHz will cost USD 549. The flagship Zen4 desktop CPU Ryzen 9 7950X will have 16 cores and 32 threads and is priced at USD 699. The base and boost clock speeds in particular, are greatly boosted in the four new CPU types compared to their predecessors. The AMD Ryzen 7000 series is available late this month, unveiling four models on August 30th: the Ryzen 9 7950X and 7900X, the Ryzen 7 7700X, and the Ryzen 5 7600X. More information on AM5 motherboards for these models was also provided, as well as AMD EXPO, a new automatic RAM overclocking standard. The new 5nm FinFET fabrication technique, the first in a desktop CPU, as well as enhanced performance combined with higher power efficiency, are among the primary highlights of the new processor generation. Today is about the processor and motherboards. The rumor mill hasn't been silent, though over the summer, nearly all specifications somehow leaked of the products they see launched today. However, the year will close with a bang, with new products from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. While some updated graphics cards have been released this year, not much else has been newly released in the component hardware arena. The Summer of 2022 is nearly ending, and the year is well underway. This article will recap what has been announced and what we can expect. Dealing with a big sample library is also a bit weird, but what I found that works best is to look for the samples on Finder or on something like the Splice app and drag-and-drop them directly into the session/sampler I'm using.Wrapping It Up: What Is The Best Logic Pro Alternative On Windows? Best Logic Pro Alternative For Windows 1. Both of this artists are known for complex vocal arrangements and, specially heavy use of pitch correction. Audio manipulation was another highlight. Logic pro is a good value at $200, but it's specially noticeable since you have to compare it to the more-expensive "Suite" versions of the other DAWs that cost at least x4 as much. Neither of this projects have plugins, nor do they need them. One of the first things I do when trying out music software is to look for presets/demo projects that are included with them and Apple hit the home run with this one.
